So far I love the screen. I appreciate that all the programs were preloaded and that the battery was charged. I'm enjoying working with a computer whose keys do not stick. I think my speed is improved. One of the comments I had read about, in researching this computer was the report that the fan was a bit louder than other computers. I'm happy to say that this does not seem to be as loud as they reported. I'm looking forward to taking this out into the field, into the Barns and off Camping and hope the battery does hold up as advertised. Thanks for a good bit of service!

Thank you very much for the info. It is really great to deal with a company that is customer based. That is one reason why I bought a computer directly from the company rather than the middle man like those MEGA Electronics stores (No names!), who produce computer generated responses and phone calls. I needed a computer to handle the rough travel I do every 2 weeks, (I work on offshore tugs) and you folks had what I was looking for.

I really appreciate your response to my email. It really speaks to me about the quality of the company. I mean I've sent emails to other companies inquiring about products before making a purchase and have gotten no response? I teach overseas; I have pretty much for the last two decades. Truthfully, whenever I come back to the US for a visit, I'm just shocked by what passes for customer service. Emails go unanswered or someone answers the phone with "xyz company...please hold." I was a volunteer voice trainer for a call center in India for 3 months and I always told my trainees that customer service is the prospective customer's first contact with the company. It'd better present a positive image. Joshua's response did just that.

Quick answer, ON A SATURDAY! Thanks. I heard about the Durabook on a motorcycle touring forum where I hang out. A couple of guys there use it on long bike trips, which is what I got it for. They seem to trust it a lot and also gave recommendations for gowin.com as a Durabook vendor. Thought you'd like to know.
